Permanent position for an Applications Engineer supporting a manufacturer of industrial fluid handling systems.
Match products to customer applications, prepare quotations, and carry customer-specific solutions through to delivery.
Serve as the technical liaison between customers, sales, and manufacturing, delivering accurate and timely responses to inquiries.
Assess application conditions including pressure, temperature, media, flow, vibration, operating environment, and regulatory constraints, including for demanding use cases.
Specify products along with their associated fittings and couplings.
Diagnose issues in field installations and identify suitable replacement solutions.
Review customer drawings, specifications, RFQs, and technical documentation.
Advise on installation, maintenance, and product selection.
Develop bills of material and pricing recommendations.
Guide material selection across metals, PTFE, silicone and composite.
Requirements
Engineering degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years of customer-facing experience in applications engineering or technical sales support.
Experience reviewing technical drawings, specifications, RFQs, and related documentation.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills for supporting customers and coordinating across internal teams.
Demonstrated commitment to deep product knowledge and high-quality technical support.
US Citizenship required due to defense / aerospace related industry projects.
