Description

  • Permanent position for an Automation Controls Engineer to develop, integrate, and support new and existing automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Write PLC and industrial robot programs from scratch, plus modify and improve existing code.
  • Maintain software version history and document changes appropriately.
  • Specify sensors, actuators, and electrical cabinets for new machine designs.
  • Create controls schematics to guide assembly by machine builders.
  • Wire, install, and test prototype machines and associated PLC software.
  • Support production and maintenance teams in diagnosing and repairing PLC-related equipment on the floor.
  • Configure and program controllers and electronic devices across departments.

Requirements

  • BS Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Computer Engineering, or similar.
  • Minimum 3 years of PLC programming and industrial automation experience.
  • Experience with industrial robot programming and ladder logic.
  • Experience with electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret program instructions and electrical schematics.
  • Epson robotic programming highly desired.
