Description
Contract to direct position for an CAD Designer for mechanical, electrical and civil design.
Electrical design to create drawings for security wiring, power cables, conduit runs, etc.
Mechanical design for piping and plumbing design for transit and utility infrastructure.
Requires some field visits for walkdowns.
Designs for the infrastructure construction market.
Create drawings for complex electrical systems for public and private clients, more specifically for transit systems.
Utilize AutoCAD for design.
Requirements
AAS Design & Drafting preferred.
Experience with electrical design for wiring, power cables, conduit runs, etc.
Minimum 5 years mechanical, electrical, and civil design / drafting experience.
Experience with electrical design for transit projects.
Experience with plumbing and piping design for infrastructure utilities.
Ability to perform field visits.
Experience with AutoCAD.
