Permanent position for a Civil Engineering Manager to oversee Water / Wastewater design and construction projects.
Lead and manage multiple technical teams, including Group Managers, Project Managers, and Engineers, to ensure successful project completion.
Provide strategic leadership and direction on water/wastewater engineering projects, ensuring compliance with all technical and regulatory standards.
Guide the team in the design, planning, and optimization of infrastructure for water systems such as treatment plants, watermain replacement, sewer systems, etc.
Oversee business development efforts, including proposal preparation.
Collaborate with peers across the organization to support team goals and company success.
Coordinate and manage the delivery of projects, ensuring they meet established deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
Monitor and manage project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and collections.
Mentor and develop staff through effective recruitment, training, and performance management practices.
Requirements
BS Civil Engineering required.
PE License required, with New Jersey licensure preferred.
Minimum 15 years of experience in water, wastewater, and sewer engineering.
Strong background in project management, client relations, and staff development.
Experience in managing large-scale water/wastewater projects, including budgeting, design, and client engagement.
Demonstrated expertise in business management, including workload forecasting, business planning, KPI attainment, invoicing/collections, recruitment, and staff development.
Strong leadership abilities with experience in team-building, collaboration, and strategic planning.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, and work independently or as part of a team.
