Civil Field Engineer / Construction Engineer

Description

Permanent position for a Field Engineer for industrial and commercial construction applications.
Work on civil and structural site improvements.
Field support for mechanical processes and /automation, Support for renovations to commercial buildings and structures.
Read and interpret project specifications and drawings.
Provide technical assistance to the Project Managers, Superintendents, and field personnel.
Ensure quality and safety through all tasks and phases of the project life cycle.
Wide salary range, commensurate with experience.

BS Civil Engineering or BS Mechanical Engineering.
Passed FE / EIT exam, preferred.
Minimum 1-3 years working in commercial, industrial, or municipal construction or installation projects with emphasis on technical support.
Experience reading drawings, specifications, and procedures.
Hands on field experience in the construction industry required.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Experience performing elevation and layout surveys.
Experience using AutoCAD.
Experience with estimating and creating BOM lists is a plus.
