Contract to direct position for an Electrical BIM / CAD Manager to oversee the development, implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Computer Aided Design (CAD) standards for building electrical systems.
Develop, implement and maintain BIM and CAD standards, templates, and workflows for electrical and MEP disciplines.
Manage and oversee creation, development and coordination of electrical systems in AutoCAD and Revit.
Coordinate BIM electrical systems with MEP, architectural and structural teams.
Oversee electrical designs and documentation, plans, schematics, panel schedules, and layouts.
Primary point of contact for all electrical BIM and CAD coordination.
Requirements
BS Electrical Engineering preferred.
Minimum 5 years experience as a BIM / CAD manager.
Experience with electrical systems design for the MEP industry.
Expert proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.
Knowledge of NEC, IEC and local building codes and standards.
Strong knowledge of Navisworks, BIM 360, and Bluebeam.
