Permanent position for an Electrical Operations and Maintenance Specialist.
Provide general engineering support, development and ongoing maintenance of battery storage systems and other environmentally sound renewable power and energy solutions.
Develop and optimize battery storage plant operations and maintenance procedures.
Maintain and improve plant performance, safety, and efficiency.
Lead troubleshooting efforts and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
Manage inventory and coordinate field projects.
Drive revenue growth and cost reduction initiatives.
Some travel (~20%) to visit plants in the Philadelphia area and Southern NJ.
Requirements
Minimum 4 years of experience in operations and maintenance of power generation, battery storage, or other renewable energy storage plants.
Experience with PLC programming, SCADA programming and implementation with a good understanding of PLC instrumentation, control systems, and remote telemetry.
Strong knowledge of power plant and battery storage facility operations.
Experience maintaining mechanical and electrical systems.
Proficiency with power plant tools, equipment, and safety protocols.
Computer skills including Microsoft Office and maintenance software.
Knowledge of electrical theory, trending data analysis, and diagnostic procedures.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with project management expertise.
