Electromechanical Assembler – Aerospace/Defense

Description

Permanent position for an Electromechanical Assembler for aerospace components and systems.
Prepare work to be accomplished by assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists.
Gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit.
Fasten parts and subassemblies.
Verify specifications by measuring completed component.
Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
Follow manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshoot malfunctions, and call for repairs.
Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level.
Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Train fellow co-workers as needed.

High School degree Minimum 1 year Electronics and Electromechanical assembly experience.
Experience in a manufacturing environment for electronics assembly preferred.
Strong basic communication skills.
Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings that detail product specifications.
United States Citizen or Permanent Resident required as position is with a defense contractor.
