Electromechanical Assembler – Aerospace/Defense

Description

  • Permanent position for an Electromechanical Assembler for aerospace components and systems.
  • Prepare work to be accomplished by assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists.
  • Gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
  • Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit.
  • Fasten parts and subassemblies.
  • Verify specifications by measuring completed component.
  • Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
  • Follow manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshoot malfunctions, and call for repairs.
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level.
  • Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
  • Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Train fellow co-workers as needed.

Requirements

  • High School degree Minimum 1 year Electronics and Electromechanical assembly experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment for electronics assembly preferred.
  • Strong basic communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings that detail product specifications.
  • United States Citizen or Permanent Resident required as position is with a defense contractor.
