Permanent position for an Electromechanical Assembly Lead to lead a team of electromechanical assemblers, to meet the company deadlines, to troubleshoot technical problems and to perform according to quality standards.
Independently build assemblies of electromechanical parts as required.
Ensure proper ESD equipment is in place.
Ensure that employees and worktables are grounded prior to handling any electrical components.
Maintaining high work standards on the production line, lead by example.
Perform visual, functional andor dimensional inspections when required.
Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
Ensure accuracy and organize documentation as required for a work order.
Generate reports and data entry as required.
Raise flags to the appropriate personnel whenever a nonconformance is suspected.
Set up and Monitor the assembly room.
Ensure compliance to the prescribed QMS processes.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years experience working with surface mount technology lines.
Experience with use of basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, etc.
Computer skills with MS office.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Time management skills.
Attention to details.
Certifications that are desired are: IPC-A-620 Certified, Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies, IPC-A-610 Certified, Acceptability of Electronics Assemblies, and IPC-J-STD-001 Certified, Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Assemblies.
Ability to read & interpret mechanical blueprints and drawings is desired.
Experience with inspection tools such as calipers, height gages, micrometers, etc. is desired.
Awareness and knowledge of processes related to production.
