Electromechanical Technician

Description

  • Permanent position for an Electromechanical Technician to troubleshoot and repair instrumentation and controls and automation equipment.
  • Equipment includes repair of PLCs, servo drives, robotics, sensors, motor controls, and control valves.
  • Calibrate, test, and replace sensors, encoders, and electrical feedback devices.
  • Execute preventive maintenance (PMs) on control systems.
  • Perform electrical testing, thermal imaging, and insulation resistance checks.
  • Document repairs in the CMMS.
  • Implement upgrades to controls, automation systems, and electrical hardware/software.
  • Follow OSHA and EHS standards during all maintenance activities.

Requirements

  • AAS Electrical Technology preferred.
  • Experience as a electromechanical technician preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years experience with maintenance and repair of controls and automation equipment.
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting.
  • Experience with servo drives, VFDs, robotics, and sensors.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals.
