Electro-Mechanical Test Technician

Description

  • Permanent position for an Electromechanical Test Technician to apply technical expertise to resolve simple and complex problems.
  • Provide technical support to customers through setting up and safely operating electromechanical equipment.
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical equipment failures.
  • Troubleshoot instrumentation with customers over the phone and through e-mail.
  • Work closely with engineering to resolve product issues.
  • Maintain excellent customer communication and follow up throughout the troubleshooting process.
  • Provide detailed documentation of reported product issues and resolutions.
  • Coordinate RMAs with the customer service.
  • Repair returned units.

Requirements

  • AAS in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the use of Salesforce.
  • Strong experience in electromechanical troubleshooting and testing Ability to read/modify engineering drawings.
  • Must be able to problem solve Experience in a customer facing role as role will support customers directly by phone and/or email Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
