Permanent position for an Electromechanical Test Technician to apply technical expertise to resolve simple and complex problems.
Provide technical support to customers through setting up and safely operating electromechanical equipment.
Diagnose electrical and mechanical equipment failures.
Troubleshoot instrumentation with customers over the phone and through e-mail.
Work closely with engineering to resolve product issues.
Maintain excellent customer communication and follow up throughout the troubleshooting process.
Provide detailed documentation of reported product issues and resolutions.
Coordinate RMAs with the customer service.
Repair returned units.
Requirements
AAS in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the use of Salesforce.
Strong experience in electromechanical troubleshooting and testing Ability to read/modify engineering drawings.
Must be able to problem solve Experience in a customer facing role as role will support customers directly by phone and/or email Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
