Description
Permanent position for an Engineering Project Manager to support the Construction Management team for transportation projects.
Responsible for oversight and project review, visiting field offices, and supporting project staff.
Lead field staff and engineering teams.
Negotiate contracts with clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
Establish and monitor schedules and budgets on projects.
Responsible for business development.
Create proposals, develop, marketing activities, and travel to trade shows.
Requirements
BS Civil Engineering.
PE License and ability to obtain NJ PE License.
Minimum of 8 years of engineering, construction management, and transportation experience.
Experience with NJDOT and/or NJTA experience highly preferred.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Traffic Control Coordinator Certification preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, PDF software, and the ability to learn applicable time reporting and budgeting programs.
