Engineering Project Manager – Transportation

Description

  • Permanent position for an Engineering Project Manager to support the Construction Management team for transportation projects.
  • Responsible for oversight and project review, visiting field offices, and supporting project staff.
  • Lead field staff and engineering teams.
  • Negotiate contracts with clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Establish and monitor schedules and budgets on projects.
  • Responsible for business development.
  • Create proposals, develop, marketing activities, and travel to trade shows.

Requirements

  • BS Civil Engineering.
  • PE License and ability to obtain NJ PE License.
  • Minimum of 8 years of engineering, construction management, and transportation experience.
  • Experience with NJDOT and/or NJTA experience highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Traffic Control Coordinator Certification preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, PDF software, and the ability to learn applicable time reporting and budgeting programs.
