Permanent position for an Engineering Sales Representative to interface with consulting engineering companies to ensure company’s heating and cooling system products are successfully specified in plans and project scopes.
Build and maintain relationships with mechanical contractors to present, promote, and provide technical guidance on hydronic systems and air source heat pump applications.
Assist engineers with challenges, offering tailored solutions that meet project requirements.
Conduct technical training sessions, including Lunch-and-Learn presentations to mechanical contracting companies, highlighting the features, benefits, and applications.
Collaborate with project teams to review plans and specifications to identify opportunities for products.
Provide technical support during design, installation, and commissioning phases of HVAC system installation and/or replacement projects.
Identify and pursue new opportunities and applications of HVAC technologies with consulting engineers and contractors by attending industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
Serve as a subject matter expert on hydronic systems, air source heat pumps, and other HVAC technologies.
Prepare technical documentation for consulting engineers, including submittals, and system design recommendations.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
Work with the internal engineering, sales, and marketing teams to align strategies and share feedback from the field.
Provide regular reports on specification wins, project milestones, and customer feedback.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to provide thought leadership during training events.
Requirements
BS in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC engineering, with a focus on hydronic systems and/or air source heat pumps.
Strong technical knowledge of HVAC system design and equipment applications.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to develop and maintain professional relationships with consulting engineers and conducting training sessions.
Familiarity with local building codes, ASHRAE standards, and industry best practices.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
