Permanent position for an Engineering Test Technician for testing consumer products.
Design and implement detailed test plans for products in development.
Ensure comprehensive test coverage including protocols, pass or fail criteria, and data collection methods.
Conduct hands-on product testing, including designing and setting up tests, and using lab equipment to validate product functionality, usability, and durability.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, report test findings and provide feedback on product improvements.
Clearly document testing expectations, results, and recommendations in reports for both internal teams and external partners.
Requirements
BS Engineering or related.
Hands on experience with testing and prototyping.
Strong time management skills.
Ability to learn and operate new lab equipment and technologies to support product testing.
Understanding of statistical methods and data analysis.
Excellent written communication skills.
Experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), and experience with testing tools such as data loggers, Arduino and Python.
