Description
Permanent position for an Environmental Engineer with a NY PE License to oversee transit construction projects.
Monitor, sample and report on air, soil and water quality.
Hazardous and universal waste management.
Oversee contaminated soil management, spill prevention, and stormwater management.
Meet State and Federal regulations, including soil, groundwater, and air contaminant identification.
Take qualitative and quantitative measurements, and implement of remedial technologies.
Requirements
BS Environmental or Civil Engineering.
PE License in New York.
Minimum 10 years experience with air, soil, and water monitoring, sampling, and reporting.
Experience with waste management.
Minimum 2 years experience working on transportation construction projects.
Knowledge of contaminated soil management, spill prevention, stormwater management, and hazardous waste management.
Knowledge of asbestos abatement procedures.
Knowledge of NYSDEC regulations.
