Instrumentation Commissioning Technician

Description

  • Instrumentation commissioning position for a mid-size electrical-mechanical service company.
  • Primary responsibilities will include: Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, documenting, and repairing a wide variety of industrial instrumentation, systems, and controls.
  • Providing maintenance support for the uninterrupted operation of essential instrumentation, controls, and electrical equipment.
  • Must be available for emergencies or job assignments on a 24-hour basis.
  • Must have the ability to work with electricians and process control operators to assist and diagnose various instrumentation and control processes.
  • Company will pay for relocation from out of state.

Requirements

  • At least a high school diploma, vocational school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have experience with instrumentation and test equipment and instrumentation loop processes.
  • At least 5 years experience as instrumentation technician.
  • Experience in industrial, water, wastewater or petrochemical industries preferred.
