IT Engineer / Systems Administrator

Description

  • Permanent position for an IT Engineer to provide systems administration support for business and end users for Microsoft O365.
  • Implement service and change requests for Microsoft 365 with focus on Azure Active Directory and Exchange Online.
  • Inform users about application errors, application notifications, or planned maintenance on Windows.
  • Communicate and track technical problems with external partners and system suppliers.
  • Participates documentation of the user manuals and collaboration with engineers from other IT teams (network, security, etc).
  • On-board new employees and support managers with enabling systems access.
  • Check network status daily and troubleshoot to maximize system uptime.
  • Consult on office and manufacturing equipment purchases for connectivity capability.
  • Supports and advises system developers and users about system technical issues.
  • Define and develop system backup measures and checklists for change management and data protection.
  • Develop procedures, escalations processes and workflow rules for exceptional circumstances (Recovery/Restart).

Requirements

  • BS Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Engineering or a similar technical degree.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in system administration of Microsoft 365 services required.
  • Azure Active Directory experience in configuration, administration and integration.
  • Experience with Exchange Online and Microsoft Teams is required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Security and Compliance Center is a plus.
  • Intermediate understanding of Windows Server systems (ver. 2016+).
  • Basic understanding of Network configuration.
  • Intermediate knowledge in Windows 10/11 OS.
  • Knowledge in PowerShell and MS Graph is a plus.
