Description
Permanent position for a Laser CNC Programmer to create CNC sheet metal programs for laser and punch press machines.
Utilize Radan CAD/CAM software at a production facility for Life Science research equipment.
Develop CNC sheet metal programs for CO2/fiber laser and punch press machines.
Determine dimensions and choose cutting tools, machine speeds and feed rates based on drawing interpretation.
Conduct job responsibilities in a safe and productive manner while maintaining high quality levels.
Adhere to standardized work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
Maintain equipment and facilities and keep a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in CNC Programming for punch press and laser machines.
Experience with programming using Radan CAD/CAM Software for sheet metal cutting.
Familiarity with TRUMPH punch press, Mitsubishi and Prima laser machines.
Understanding of production procedures.
Good communication and project management skills.
Proficient in MS Office suite.
