Description
Permanent position for a Manufacturing Technician working with equipment used in extrusion and cable manufacturing.
Set up of manufacturing equipment and review work orders, materials, specifications and process requirements.
Maintain production materials and supply items as required for the department.
Support process engineering developing and documenting new or revised process conditions as assigned.
Coordinate efforts to correct equipment/process problems in order to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency and yield.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED.
Additional education or technical training preferred.
Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience.
Extrusion or optical fiber cable experience preferred.
Technical or mechanical background required.
Basic computer skills required.
