Description
Permanent position for a Mechanical Design Engineer for commercial stainless steel products.
Responsible for 3D design using Solid Edge and SolidWorks.
Product design and development.
Sheet metal and injection molded parts design.
Design for manufacturing and understanding of fabrication methods.The company is the world’s leading manufacturer of commercial stainless steel.
They are looking to bring on a Mechanical Design Engineer, who has experience in 3D CAD, Solid Edge and SolidWorks.
Previous experience in sheet metal fabrication required.
Requirements
BS Mechanical Engineering.
Experience with Solid Edge and SolidWorks for 3D design.
Experience with design for sheet metal and injection molded parts.
Experience with Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
Knowledge of fabrication methods.
