Mechanical Engineer

Description

Permanent position for a Mechanical Engineer to interface with customers and engineering teams to generate technical specifications and quotations.
Position is with a specialty industrial fluid management product manufacturer.
Create and review detailed specifications and drawings for steel and PTFE specialty hose assemblies.
Interface with customers, engineers and purchasing personnel to select appropriate materials based on application requirements and industry standards.
Provide technical expertise and support to customers.
Generate technical bids and quotations to ensure compliance with specifications and codes.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive engineering documentation, including specifications and bills of materials.

BS Mechanical Engineering Minimum 2 years of industry experience in writing fluid flow product specifications.
Experience with generating quotations and bids on products to meet customer requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interface with customers.
Familiarity with CAD and P&IDs.
US Citizenship required due to government projects.
