Permanent position for an Engineering Manager for Municipal Projects.
Lead the planning, design, and execution of municipal projects, including roads, stormwater management, and public infrastructure.
Ensure all projects adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, including permitting and municipal stormwater management rules.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering staff.
Serve as the primary point of contact for municipal clients, representing municipalities as a municipal or board engineer at public meetings and providing expert advice on engineering and compliance matters.
Prepare, review, and approve engineering reports, proposals, specifications, and contract documents.
Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
Support business development by identifying new opportunities, preparing proposals, and participating in client presentations.
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and ensure adherence to design specifications and regulatory standards.
Participate in public outreach and education initiatives as required by municipal regulations, supporting community awareness and compliance.
Requirements
BS in Civil Engineering.
PE License required.
Minimum 15 years experience required.
Prior experience managing engineers is required.
Experience managing projects and engineering personnel.
