Description
Permanent position for an Optical Manufacturing Technician for 2nd shift.
Set up production equipment within the grating station.
Fabricate and measure opto-electronic devices.
Complete measurement and production documentation.
Support engineering on process development activities.
Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent required.
College/Technical degree preferred.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing and production testing.
Ability to read and understand complex manufacturing drawings/process layouts.
Ability to collect and record measurement data.
Ability to operate precision measurement equipment.
Experience working with high power lasers, optics, optical fibers, and/or fusion splicers required.
