Description
Permanent position for a Shop Floor Controller to oversee manufacturing operations for cables and assemblies.
Enter production orders into planning and scheduling software to keep operations current.
Set a detailed production schedule.
Manage capacity constraints to maintain production schedule.
Support assembly personnel.
Track progress to address delays.
Oversee materials and release production orders.
Close production orders accurately upon completion.
Resolve errors or missing information in production paperwork.
Oversee material flow and maintain steady operations.
Flag production delays and manage escalations.
Drive continuous improvement to optimize manufacturing operations.
Requirements
High School Diploma required.
Minimum 2 years of experience in production environment.
Experience with SAP, ERP, and APS software preferred.
Attention to detail.
Experience with Excel, Word, Outlook, SAP, and APS.
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Salary plus bonus and benefits.
