QA Manager – Aerospace / Defense

Description

QA manager position for an aerospace / defense electronics manufacturing company.
Primary responsibilities will include:.
Department Leadership – lead daily execution of quality and testing activities.
QMS – Manage and maintain the AS910-certified shop floor practices.
Auditing and Compliance – Lead internal audits focused on process effectiveness and prepare AS9100 audits.
Inspection and testing – Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
EH&S – Lead EHS and ensure RCRA compliance.
Continuous Improvements and Metrics – Lead various continuous improvement initiatives.
Team Development – develop and maintain quality team members.

BS degree in Engineering or equivalent. 7+ years leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, aerospace / industry preferred.
Experience in polymer manufacturing preferred.
Experience in managing QMS, audits, MRB and corrective actions.
Experience with FAI and qualifications processes.
ASQ certification (CQE, CQM) preferred.
Knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace requirements.
Must be United States citizen.
