Description
Permanent position for a Resident Engineer for Transportation Construction Projects.
Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
Coordinate field inspection staff.
Oversee onsite and offsite construction activities.
Monitor compliance with Contract specifications, Resolve issues that arise from unforeseen conditions.
Responsible for ensuring that project documentation is completed and submitted.
Interpret drawings and documents.
Prepare work order documents.
Requirements
BS Civil Engineering.
Minimum 10 years of PennDOT inspection or related highway construction experience.
PE License in Pennsylvania, or NICET Level IV in Highway Construction, or PennDOT Concrete Technician Certification.
NECEPT Field Technician Certification, and NICET Level III Certification.
Ability to interpret written specifications, plans, and construction documents.
Ability to effectively communicate with clients, supervisors, and inspectors.
Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational skills.
