Description
Contract position for a Safety Data Sheet and Labeling Specialist.
Create, maintain, and distribute of Safety Data Sheets (SDS), product labels, and associated hazard communication materials.
Develop, review, and maintain Safety Data Sheets in accordance with applicable regulations.
Provide updates to SDS based on formulation changes, regulatory updates, or new hazard information.
Utilize SDS software and maintain accurate databases.
Create and update product labels to meet global regulatory requirements.
Ensure accurate and compliant labeling.
Monitor regulatory changes impacting labeling requirements and update as required.
Requirements
BS Chemistry, Environmental Science, Regulatory Affairs, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in SDS authoring and product labeling.
Experience within a regulated industry (chemicals, manufacturing, consumer goods).
Experience with GHS, OSHA, REACH, WHMIS, and other hazard communication standards.
Experience with regulatory databases.
Experience with multilingual SDS and labeling requirements is a plus.
Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
