Permanent position for a Senior Civil Engineer to manage and design public and private capital construction projects.
Manage from start to finish including, conceptual and master planning, design, reporting, permitting, and public presentations.
Manage projects for reconstruction of dams of various types and hazard classifications.
Oversee and provide ongoing supervision and training of staff Work on civil layout, grading, utilities, storm water management, erosion/sediment control, roadways, water resources, and regulatory compliance.
Provide technical leadership to civil engineers, drafters, and administrative support.
Comply with Company and client standards and requirements.
Responsible for all aspects of technical project planning for complex projects, including interactions with clients and contractors.
Establish and monitor schedules and budgets as they relate to assigned projects.
Perform project site visits as needed, and all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
BS Civil Engineering.
Minimum of 10 years of diverse experience in land development, water resources, and municipal services.
NYS PE License required.
Experience with project management, client-relations management, design, and technical staff supervision; Familiarity with AutoCAD 2019 required; Requires a valid, clean driver’s license and personal vehicle, as project site visits are required.
