Permanent hybrid position for a Senior Electrical Engineer to supervise and conduct all phases of electrical design and construction of various facilities; position is with an established but growing Philadelphia area MEP consulting engineering firm.
Ensure design and production are completed within project budgets and schedules.
Lead the design, documentation and completion of lighting, power and signal calculations.
Collaborate with project team, clients, and contractors to develop project documentation details and coordination.
Complete reports, specifications and code research to establish design criteria for projects.
Perform and supervise construction administration tasks.
Produce effective proposals and make presentations.
Stay abreast of state-of-the-art design through seminars and continuing education.
Participate in QA/QC reviews and company-wide standards.
Work with and mentor junior staff.
Requirements
Electrical engineering degree with 10+ years of electrical design experience.
PE license.
Knowledge of current electrical codes and practices.
Experience with engineering calculation software and equipment selection programs.
