Senior Hardware Engineer

Description

  • Permanent position for a Senior Hardware Engineer for hands-on development of electrical systems for high precision equipment.
  • Design systems that include power and noise management, motor and actuator control, and electrical component integration.
  • Lead and oversee the design, development, integration, and validation of electrical subsystems.
  • Create architecture for analog, digital, and power electronics.
  • Design motor control, actuator control, signal conditioning, and mixed-signal circuitry.
  • Optimize reliability, noise reduction, long-term stability, and manufacturability.
  • Lead PCB design and development processes.
  • Oversee schematics, layouts, and board bring-up.
  • Ensure signal integrity, power distribution, EMI/EMC, thermal, and global safety standards are met.
  • Integrate electronic components, including sensors, motors, power supplies, etc.
  • Work with mechanical, software, systems, and manufacturing teams.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to junior engineers.
  • Manage and mentor engineering talent, providing technical leadership, developing best practices, running design reviews, and ensuring alignment with program and organizational goals.
  • Optimize engineering processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Establish and enhance engineering processes, contributing to continuous improvement.
  • Ensure that industry and regulatory requirements are met.

Requirements

  • BS Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of electrical engineering experience developing high precision electronic systems.
  • Experience with analog, digital, and power electronics.
  • Experience with grounding, noise mitigation, and signal integrity.
  • Experience integrating motors, sensors, power systems, and mixed-signal components.
  • Experience with PCB design and simulation tools, such as Altium, OrCAD, SPICE, MATLAB, etc.
  • Working knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, or FPGAs.
  • Hands-on experience with servo and stepper motors.
  • Ability to travel for manufacturing support, system bring-up, and customer interactions.
  • Salary based on experience level.
