Permanent position for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of lighting systems for architectural applications.
Responsible for working with both internal design personnel and external design partners on new product development of LED lighting systems.
Create lighting layouts, specifications and technical documentation.
Design for injection molded parts, extrusions, die castings, sheet metal, etc.
Cost optimization for lighting product manufacturing.
Requirements
BS Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 8 years experience with lighting design.
Experience with SolidWorks preferred.
Experience with design for injection molded parts, extrusions, die casting, sheet metal, etc.
