Description
Contract position for a Test Engineer for medical device manufacturing.
Responsible for creating the test plan for complex medical devices.
Assess requirements for testability and acceptance criteria.
Technically lead development and writing of protocols, test setup and execution, and assist the test technicians.
Create test requirements for in process and end of line tests.
Lead a test failure technical investigation.
Write a deviation and present the technical details to a cross functional team.
Manage external vendors who develop test fixtures based on these requirements.
Requirements
BS Electrical Engineering or Computer Science Minimum 5 years experience in the design and product development of electromechanical assemblies.
Experience in development of test requirements and test fixtures (hardware & software).
Experience in supervising outside vendors to develop test fixtures.
Experience in implementing and validation of test fixtures in production environment.
Proficiency with schematic capture tool such as Cadence.
Proficiency C++ and Object Orientated Software.
