Permanent position for a Training Engineer to develop and conduct training for both internal personnel and external customers within the medical instrumentation industry.
Internal training will focus on training all new hires in the engineering department (including other training engineers) on all internal systems.
External training will focus on training customers (typically biomedical engineers) on our full suite of products including digital products and instruments among other products.
Due to the remote nature of various clients, the training engineer can complete this work in person or virtually.
In addition to training, there is the need to give presentations/ lectures, typically addressing product safety, instillation/ commissioning, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
In some cases, the ideal training engineer would need to administer tests given to internal/ external employees and report on results to management.
Requirements
BS Engineering.
Minimum of 3 years experience in medical instrumentation industry.
Experience as a training engineer not required but strongly preferred.
Experience writing reports and procedure manuals.
Experience presenting technical materials to groups of managers and/or clients.
Ability to understand and convey technical procedures and/or government regulatory notices.
